|
On 04/14/2004 skeletal remains were found on the west side of Richards Road off Immokalee Road. The location was being cleared for Immokalee Road expansion and a water retention pond. The condition of the skeletal remains indicated they were in the ground for at least 4 years. Because of the condition of the skull the forensic artist was only able to complete a partial facial reconstruction. Her race/ethnicity is unknown.
Other items found at the scene were a cotton sweat suit (possibly gray), the label on the sweatshirt read "Favorites" and a pair of tennis shoes with the Olympic name and logo on the upper heel.
