A family member found homicide victim Romero Figueroa lying on the ground, outside his Oak Haven Apartment in Immokalee. Romero was last seen alive by his family at approximately 5:00pm on 05/11/2010, when he left the house to take out the garbage. On 05/12/2010 at 4:00am a family member got up to start breakfast and check the weather outside before going to work. When they opened the front door to their apartment they discovered the victim on the ground bleeding, unconscious and not breathing.
Witnesses said before Romero was found, they saw two black males in the area. A composite sketch of one of the males is attached.
