The Sheriff's Office received a call from a couple who were driving on Turner River Road. The couple discovered a human skull. They left the area and contacted law enforcement. Detectives found the remaining skeleton under bushes and tall grass. The Medical Examiner determined the victim died from a gunshot wound, and the time between death and when the body was found was in excess of one year.
